I thought I’d show off more of the amazing textures to be seen on the trees in the park. The bark was burnt on one of them. Most of the trees there had survived fires of some sort. The bright reds of the sequoias is amazing to see. I could always point them out among all the other trees.

The last two photos were taken by Zach. On the trail to see the sequoia trees a couple of mule deer wandered right up to the people. They wouldn’t let anyone touch them, but they didn’t seem bothered at all by the people gathering around them as they wandered the trail, looking for stuff to eat.
